A kawaii musubi shop called Ookini Onigiri opened in Waikiki on Feb. 26 with 24 different types of rice balls, various bento and a special pork miso soup. At night, the shop turns into the Waikiki branch of Moiliili's Sweet Home Cafe. "Ookini" means thank you in the Osaka/Kansai dialect and reflects a humble and friendly demeanor found. Prices are around $2-3 for musubi and $7-10 for bento.
