For Restaurant Week Hawaii 2018, nine eateries at International Market Place are offering a slew of discounts and specials. So whether you’re looking for a luxe dinner in Waikiki or an excuse to get your hands on more crispy, buttery kouign amann pastries, you'll get your chance Nov. 9-18.  

Here’s the deets on Restaurant Week-only specials at International Market Place. And remember, when you spend $10 anywhere at International Market Place, you can get your first hour of parking validated free and your second, third and fourth hours are only $2 each.

Eating House 1849 at International Market Place is offering a two-course lunch for $28 and a three-course dinner for $38. For lunch, start off with an ahi and avocado appetizer, then choose your entrée: Angry General (fried chicken doused with honey chili butter, cabbage and honey aioli), Kauai Prawns & Thai Salad, or Braised Short Rib “Loco Moco” (sunny side egg, fried rice and mushroom gravy). Dinner begins with the Eating House Sampler (pipikaula poke, Mongolian chicken lumpia, ahi tataki), then choose from Braised Lamb Shank “Kare Kare,” Ora King Salmon “Dynamite” and Surf & Turf Luau (braised short rib, tako and lomi tomatoes). Then, ahhh! It's a refreshing banana lumpia crunch with ube ice cream for dessert.

Feast on pizzas, pastas and more when you opt for Flour & Barley’s $35 prix fixe menu. Choose from tomato caprese, arugula and kale salad, or meatballs to start. Then select from a mouthwatering smorgasbord of entrees including pizzas (margherita, calabrese, kalua pork and genovese) and pasta (shrimp and penne alla vodka). Complete your meal with tiramisu or cannolis — not an easy decision!

Optional: Add a wine or beer pairing for $20 per person.

Herringbone’s $65 four-course menu pays homage to its “fish meats field” culinary concept. Start off with a smoked trout Caesar salad, then enjoy Kona Kampachi crudo prepared elegantly with smoked soy foam, yuzu juice flakes, truffle oil and Maui onion. The main course is a Kauai grass-fed flatiron steak with Okinawan sweet potato puree. Dessert of chocolate butter mochi tops off your meal. A wine pairing of three two-ounce pours is available for $15.

The Chocolate Banana Mac Nut Kouign Amann Sundae ($8.75) features Kona Coffee Purveyors' classic kouign amann topped wtih banana slices, Fior Di Latte gelato, a chocolate sauce drizzle, whipped cream and toasted macadamia nuts. Mmmmm! This offer is available from 2 p.m. to close.

When it comes to all kinds of sushi, Japanese groceries, Japanese pastries, bentos and more, Mitsuwa Marketplace has it all. During Restaurant Week, the Japanese supermarket is offering a $4.99 mini kaisen chirashi bowl with salmon roe, egg, shrimp, tuna, salmon, squid, uni and shiso leaf over Japanese sushi rice (subject to change based on seafood availability). Their mini beef bowl of thin-sliced marinated beef, onions and red ginger over Japanese rice will also be on special for $4.99.

Indulge in the best of StripSteak for only $59. Start off with Waipoli greens salad before choosing your entrée of 12-ounce USDA Prime Angus New York Strip Steak, 6-ounce daily local catch, or 18-ounce USDA prime angus 35 dry-aged Kansas City Strip Steak (a $30 supplement). Accompaniments are available for an additional charge — U-10 diver scallop ($8), broiled Kona lobster tail ($25) and trio of sauces ($6).
