Vikram Garg is one of Hawaii's most celebrated chefs, able to satisfy a universal palette with memorable gastronomic experiences. Yet the food of India, his homeland, is still near and dear to his heart. In this annual event, this masterful chef puts his heart and soul into every dish that is served to supporters of culinary education in Hawaii. Join us for this memorable feast of tantalizing tastes, textures as Chef Garg presents the cuisine of his homeland Punjab.
The dinner is a benefit for the Hawaii Culinary Education Foundation, a 501c3 non profit that provides educational programs for community college and high school students enrolled in the state’s culinary education programs. Local, national and international chefs, cookbook authors and food and wine experts are featured in HCEF programs, providing cutting edge and out-of-the-classroom culinary experiences that broaden students’ awareness of the culinary world.
