Off-Premise is back! The team that puts on unique dinner parties in unusual places held its 11th event last night in the hallway fronting EAT Honolulu (@EatHonolulu) in the Gentry Design Center. The menu, created by chef/owner David Passanisi, was a way to showcase his talent with Italian cuisine and fresh local products.
i love the food in Hawaii and it's nice to see this included. i like chasing a squid around the nabe pot as much as the next guy, but every so often, we euro types need a little Sicilian or Tuscan pick-me-up.
Wow, fresh pasta that "dissolved on the tongue like butter" and the pancetta-wrapped filet of beef dish sound and looks amazing! I would have loved to taste all of their dishes. Paired w/ sake of course ;D
