Bernini’s spring menu

I was invited to a blogger dinner last night to sample Bernini’s new spring menu, and although I already splashed it all over my social media, I thought I would post what we ate in case you decide to go and need a quick reference.

Bernini, as you know, is Japanese-owned, but the chef trained intensely in Italy for years. The food isn’t a Japanese interpretation of Italian cuisine; it’s the real deal. So when you eat here, you’ll find a wide range of clientele — people seeking that authentic Italian flavor. It’s nice to see how the chef takes various seasonal ingredients to create variations on the menu. Here’s what we ate:

When your server asks if you want some bread, say yes. Bernini's bread is baked fresh in-house, with a nice texture and a sprinkle of salt on the top. It's hard not to fill up on this.
