Eclectic and quite electric describes the third annual Goodwill Goes Glam gala and pre-sale. As an insider who produced the first two shows, I can tell you it takes a ton of blood, sweat and fashionable tears to direct this high profile runway show. Kudos to Paul Brown Hawaii and his team – the electric blue bob wigs and kabuki inspired make-up made it fun and edgy. Brown chose to layer the looks on each model to showcase multiple Goodwill finds. Models gingerly removed the top layers piece by piece and managed to keep it classy. Lead stylist Amy Azada guided the team of more than a dozen stylists, most coming from Paul Brown Hawaii. Once the show was over, Hawaii News Now anchors, and Glam emcees Steve Uyehara and Jennifer Robbins, gave the audience the green light to hit the pre-sale floor. A fun night of fashion with a cause.
