Then you’ll get to try the sakes featured in the film, a “Best Feature Documentary” and “Best Docu- mentary Director” winner on the festival circuit.

Celebrate World Ocean Day at an all-day family festival in support of the North Shore Ocean Education Coalition. Head to the Turtle Bay Resort for fun activities, keiki-friendly games, ono local food, great live music, great films, ocean-themed art and dozens of educational booths. Oceanfest T-shirts featuring designs by local artist Lauren Roth will be sold to benefit the coalition.

LA-based Giant Robot returns to Honolulu to celebrate Giant Robot Hawaii 2016. Giant Robot’s Eric Nakamura presents a group art show personally curated for ARS Café, offering a sampling of pieces from artists who regularly showcase at the Giant Robot store and GR2 art gallery in Sawtelle Japantown district of Los Angeles. Works from Peter Chan, Maggie Chiang, Luke Chueh and more will be on display starting at this opening night celebration until June 30.
