Get your creative juices flowing at Lana Lane Studios for Creative Jam with team Adobe Creative Cloud team. In one room, guests can hear presentations by local designers Dallas Nagata White, Gaye Chan and Matthew Tapia — whose work is currently on view in Hawaii in Design. Meanwhile, in the next room over, teams of designers put their creativity to the test in a design tournament.

Gather the clan and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the Scots in Hawaii at the 35th Annual Hawaiian Scottish Festival and Highland Games! A mere $1 gets you in to enjoy Highland games, dance, piping and crafts, as you browse Celtic creations and delicious Scottish delicacies (including canned haggis) for sale.

Surfers, fishermen, paddle-boarders, swimmers and anyone who spends time in or around the ocean will appreciate this expo dedicated to our most important natural resource. Family fun includes Fresh Catch’s poke games, a surf sample sale, keiki fun zone and a shoreline fishing tournament that takes place on Friday, with a weigh-in on Sunday at the expo.

In Thailand, Songkran is celebrated with water fights that loosely symbolize purification and the washing away of sins and bad luck. In Hawaii we celebrate the Thai New Year with entertainment featuring folk and classical dance, muay thai kickboxing and long drums, along with some of the best Thai food around. We’re excited to check it out!

Ward Village hosts their monthly Courtyard Brunch amid artist Yayoi Kusama’s Footprints of Life sculpture installation. Enhancing the day’s art scene will be live painting by Jeff Gress of Lana Lane. Join in the artsy fun with Create a Canvas, which lets you paint your own. Noms will be provided by EAT Honolulu, Morimoto, MW, Nook, Pig and the Lady and Kope Coffee.
