Join an interactive competition highlighting Honolulu’s top chefs and mixologists at the Moana’s newest event series, Love of Libations. This LOL is special: It celebrates the Moana’s 115th birthday. Ono food and beverage pairings will be presented by the Beach Bar at the Moana Surfrider, RumFire from the Sheraton Waikiki, Scratch Kitchen & Bake Shop, The Pig and the Lady, Koko Head Café, MW Restaurant, MAC 24-7 and Square Barrels. Part of the proceeds benefit the Life Foundation Hawaii Chapter.

ETS is back in Mililani and the theme is SPAM! We’re talking serious street SPAM, Hawaii style, from 45 food trucks and booths with dishes like spam & mochi bao with gochujang, cucumbers and green onion from Bao Boys, Spam and cheese cupcakes from Girls Who Bake, and Musukawas’ Spam and fried saimin musubi. OMG. We’re salivating already!

Malama Learning Center’s annual benefit is one we always look forward to. More than 30 student chefs from six public high schools (Campbell, Kapolei, Moanalua, Radford, Waianae and Waipahu) will prepare dishes alongside chefs from Roy’s Ko Olina, Pono Plates, La’ela’e and Firehouse. Student chefs will also compete in an ahi bowl best recipe contest.
