An annual tradition for families across the island, the Honolulu City Lights are now shining bright through the downtown Capital District corridor. Whether you choose to tour them by vehicle, foot, or horse and buggy, it’s perhaps the most iconic part of the holiday season here in Hawaii. This Saturday, Dec. 12, they’re hosting a free ornament-making workshop for the keiki in Honolulu Hale.

When’s the last time you’ve made it out to PCC? This holiday celebration may be your ticket to the Windward side for food, fun, live entertainment and a family photo with Santa Claus! This multi-day event also features holiday canoe rides, special holiday sales, and a number of family fun activities throughout the center.

Back from a whirlwind global tour of 140 cities, local boy and ukulele virtuoso Jake Shimabukuro is finally home. To celebrate his homecoming, he’s putting on yet another concert, this time with a few friends at the Hawaii Theatre. It also happens to be a benefit for Kalihi Kai Elementary School’s music program, so it’s a great reason to make it out for this one-night-only concert! Frolic Hawaii is a sponsor of this event.

Covering two nights, these joyful concerts will feature Na Leo’s own music and definitive renditions of favorite Christmas songs.
