Students and artists who sell their creations here offer 30 to 100 percent of proceeds to help maintain studios at the Honolulu Museum of Art School. Now in its sixth year, the benefit sale is a great source of one-of-a-kind holiday gifts. Find these treasures among 2,500 items by nearly 100 artists including jewelry, glass sculptures, plates, containers, baskets and woven textiles, ceramic sculptures, sake serving ware, ikebana vessels, vases, cups and more.

Impressions is the Honolulu Printmakers’ annual print sale featuring the work of many of Hawaii’s best emerging and established printmakers. On Friday, Nov. 27 from 5 to 8 p.m., HP hosts a special reception with complimentary food, drinks and music. Hang out, shop for prints, listen to music by Chris Salvador and enjoy a craft beer from Lanikai Brewing Company and food from The Pig & the Lady.

Get ready for cuteness overload: Anime Matsuri Hawaii brings cultural panels and workshops, a Lolita tea tarty, maid cafe, Japanese style car show, Japanese concerts and the largest Japanese fashion show in the U.S. Since its 2007 inaugural, Anime Matsuri has grown to over 24,000 attendees, one of the largest anime conventions in North America, and it’s right at the Hawaii Convention Center.

Ward Village transforms its courtyard into the coolest spot to be all winter with the state’s first outdoor ice skating rink. A $15 ticket gets you one and a half hours of skate time; it includes skate rentals and can be bought on-site at Ward Winter Village. If things get too chilly on the ice, enjoy hand-crafted beverages and refreshments for purchase, including hot cocoa, espresso drinks and more from Kopé Coffee Co.
