Nov. 6
Afterworkshop: Fabric Rug @ PAD from 5:30-7 p.m.: DIY workshop and a free glass of champagne, as makers create a custom rug. Pre-registration: $25 which covers all the supplies and expert instruction from Trading Spaces Interior Designer Lauren Makk. $30 at the door. www.PADhawaii.com, 685 Auahi St.

Hawaii Historic Foundation pau hana: 2013 Most Endangered historic sites and how they can be saved @ R/D: 6-8 p.m.

Kids Tillandsia Terrarium Workshop @ Paiko 2-3 p.m., 675 Auahi St.

Nov. 10
Help Us Plan a Journalism Film Series @ R/D (2-5 p.m.), 691 Auahi St.
Interisland Terminal and the Offsetter are planning a Journalism and Media film/discussion series in early December.
Before lining up the discussion topics, they’re seeking input and participation of the entire journalism community, so they’ll be holding a free screening of “Page One: Inside the New York Times,” followed by an open discussion. Snacks and beverages provided. Free admission.

Vinyasa Flow yoga classes by Salina Storozuk and Jessica Worchel, every Monday and Wednesday, 8:30-9:30 a.m., Dream to Dance studio, 661 Auahi St.

Focus will be on connecting breath with movement. You will build your strength and flexibility while finding your center and calm your mind. Classes are donation based. Bring yoga mat, water, small towel and wear comfortable, stretchy clothes.
