We Get ‘Em! to raise funds for UH sports

wegetemA grassroots community group, called We Get ‘Em!, has launched a fundraising campaign to support the University of Hawaii’s athletics program.

The campaign, announced at a press conference at Murphy’s Bar & Grill on Friday morning, is led by longtime UH athletics supporters Don Murphy, Raymond Noh of Noh Foods, and Kurt Osaki of Osaki Creative.

Community members have already stepped forward to support We Get ‘Em, including the ESPN 1420 Sports Animals Chris Hart and Gary Dickman and Gaylord Holomalia of Kalapana.

murphys“It’s very much a grassroots effort,” Noh said. “We’re hoping that this organically just starts building momentum as we goes forward. This whole concept is about community.”

All proceeds for We Get ‘Em will be used directly for the benefit of UH Athletics. Donations will be received by the nonprofit aio Foundation. Check donations can be mailed to:
