Barter Bar: Health and Wellness

Illustration4Fresh Café’s new Third Thursday monthly event, Barter Bar, returns Thursday, July 18, for a health and wellness-themed event. Barter Bar is a barter and trade gathering, where goods and services are exchanged and cash is obsolete. Whether it’s a specialized skill or gently used furniture, everyone has something to offer. Barter Bar is the place to take your goods and skills and put them to use in exchange for any and everything you’re looking for. The goal is to walk away without having spent a dime.

The event begins at 7 p.m., with trading ending at 10 p.m. For a $2 entry fee, each person receives two Barter Bills (ideally, one for “wants” and one for “haves”) and the priceless opportunity to barter your way to whatever you please.

“All business and professionals are welcome,” said Matt Lynch, one of the organizers. “And even though the theme is ‘Health & Wellness’ vendors who want booth spaces, as well as guests, aren’t limited to bartering only Health & Wellness-themed goods & services.”

July’s Featured Business is HāHā Hawaiian Organics, Hawaiʻi’s only 100% certified organic production facility. The HāHā Hawaiian Organics brand of products includes eight organic fruit juice flavors and eight organic sorbets. Bring your business card and enter a drawing to win one of three shirt + hat combos from HaHa Hawaiian Organics.
