Yogurstory

Almost overnight, a new restaurant popped up next to Sorabol on Rycroft Street. Yogurstory? What a weird name. Sounds like another self-serve frozen yogurt place. Yet, it looks so big, too big for froyo. Upon closer inspection, we see a sign that says they serve brunch and lunch, and are open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day. After a couple of test runs getting coffee, my friends and I decided it was time to really check this place out.

I had totally made up a story about how they got the name... but the real reason is good too. PS: The food is wonderful. We're thinking of going back a couple time before we tell the kids about it because they're gonna love it too!

I passed by a few times and couldn't figure out if they actually misspelled the name or not. Now I know that they did, unintentionally. I'll need to drop by there one of these days but probably after the Christmas Holidays are over. Thanks for the fuud prom.

At least they do have Yougurt Dispensers and all the different toppings.

it certainly looks well capitalized. i think i remember something else there that also had an odd name. that interior treatment is something unique for KeeSt. i hope they have deep pockets and can ride out the recession. looks like it could be a go-to, 'peach pit' kinda place for the whole neighborhood, which is my favorite.

I've been saying that Honolulu needs more brunch places! Mahalo for a great post. I can't wait to walk over here soon, hopefully this weekend. :)

Krista and I went back the next day to try their brunch. Krista had the turkey club croissant. I had the bacon and cheese omelet with caramelized onions. They were both really good. We're going back again for brunch this Saturday. Hopefully, I'll get my major badge back from you.

Oh, and I think it's BYOB there because a couple next to us brought in their own bottle of wine.

Nothing against your wholesome neighborhood, but Yogurstory seems to be too hip a place for Rycroft street. I'm definitely going to check this place out!

You had me at that omelet. Omelets don't have to be a breakfast food, right?

@Melissa808 ceramic tiles from the Heath Pottery in Saucelito., the place founded by Edith Heath sometime in the 40s. next time you're back in the BA, you can take the facility tour. it's a great place. their dinnerware is always on the Xmas list of every Marin County hausfrau

@aloha_erica aaaah OK. opposite direction. But close enough that we can sort of say "neighbors." :)

@Melissa808 @aloha_erica I may be? I live across and down Kapiolani a bit from Ala Moana Center. A location that's proved to be very convenient for walking to yummy things.

@edmorita only people who don't live in the neighborhood have no idea how hip the neighbors are!
