After a short hiatus to prepare for last Saturday’s awesome Honolulu PokeFest, Awesome eats is back! At this Friday’s pop-up, downtown lunchers will get to indulge in Young’s Fish Market’s delicious Hawaiian bento beef stew bowls.
Young’s Fish Market of Kalihi is bringing its Hawaiian plate and beef stew bowls, both available by pre-order here (strongly recommended, since Awesome eats sells out).
In an earlier version, MW was slated to come to downtown Friday, they are no longer available.
First up is Young’s Fish Market’s Hawaiian bento of laulau, pipikaula, kalua pig, Okinawan sweet potato and rice, all for $10.30. If you’re still hungry, you can opt for additional sides including poi, lomi salmon and haupia.
If you’re in the mood for beef stew, Young’s is bringing bowls of the local favorite over rice for only $8.24.
Since Awesome eats sells out early, we recommend pre-ordering your Hawaiian bento or beef stew bowl to guarantee your lunch. Or you can take your chances and come to the corner of Bishop and King streets downtown this Friday between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Don’t forget to bring your pre-order receipt (email OK) when you pick up! Sorry, no refunds. Any items not picked up by 1 p.m. on the day of the event will be held at our office at 1000 Bishop St., Suite 909 until the end of day (5 p.m.) and then disposed of.
