The Na Hoku Hanohano All-Stars Concert at Hilton Hawaiian Village Saturday evening brought out hundreds of people for great music under the stars, food and fireworks. It’s part of the 4th Annual Mele Mei Celebration, a series of music and hula events held throughout the month of May at various hotels and other venues statewide. The All-Stars Concert featured a stellar lineup of Hawaiian music’s big names, all Na Hoku Award winners. Performers Taimane, the dancers of Tihati Productions, Natalie Ai Kamau’u, John Cruz, Amy Hanaiali’i Gilliom and Maunalua brought their amazing voices and talent to the stage, and were received with great enthusiasm by the crowd. The grand finale was an impressive slack-key performance by Maunalua, which ended in fireworks.
