Social nightlife app Nitecast (run by HiNights) hosted a bar stampede in Chinatown on Saturday evening that brought out about 60 people to drink, socialize and scope out Chinatown’s nightlife. What’s a bar stampede? It’s basically a bar crawl where everything moves a bit faster than normal, and you have a limited time to take advantage of deals like drink specials and free cover at each bar.
The herd started out at NextDoor before moving to Mercury, Rakuen, O’Toole’s, and eventually to the after-party at Eleven44. At each location, partygoers used the Nitecast app to redeem drink or door specials before an air horn announced that it was time to go on to the next spot along the route.
