Did this: Fashion & Beauty Expo

It was all about health, beauty and fashion at Blaisdell Exhibition Hall on Friday, the first day of Dollhouse Promotions’ first annual Fashion & Beauty Expo.

It was a shame I gave up shopping for Lent, and couldn’t spend any money at the expo, because there were so many great deals. Some booths had 40 percent off sales on cute outfits and accessories.

The expo runs through Sunday and has a ton of things packed for the weekend, including seminars, guest speakers and demos. They’ll be makeup by Liz Dahl, fashion by Lyndzi Trang, hair by Richie Miao, cosmetics by Dr. Gregory Herbich, along with health and fitness by Matt Jones. “Project Runway” finalist Andy South also will have some of his artistic fashion pieces on display.

There also will be competitions for “Hawaii’s Top Model” and “Operation Runway.” And Clear Channel is giving away a $25,000 shopping spree to New York to one lucky winner.

Part of the expo’s proceeds will go towards Kids Hurt Too, a peer support and mentoring program and Women Speaking Out, an organization committed to public education of domestic violence.

Check out the things that I saw at the expo:
